Rouella Smith, PAHMRouella has been in the group insurance business for 11 years. Learning by experience, she began her training with Beneffects, Inc. (previously known as Benefit Brokers, Inc.) where she developed proposals for owner Susan DePue and responded to service issues. She later moved into prospecting new group clients and selling individual insurance products. Beneffects, Inc. later merged with Capital Benefits Group where Rouella continued learning the ever changing insurance business. Coming full circle, Rouella joins the newly formed Benefit Brokers LLC as account manager, managing and servicing client account. A native of the Philippines, Rouella holds an associate degree from Jackson State Community College, where she served for a year as president of Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor society of two-year colleges. She also has a bachelor's degree in professional accounting from Lipscomb University. She is an active member of the Middle Tennessee Association of Health Underwriters and has served as treasurer and currently secretary of the Philippine-American Association of Middle Tennessee. Rouella is a big Nashville Predators fan, along with her husband, Chad, and daughters, Alyxis and Anastasia. She also enjoys playing pool, bowling, stamp collecting and participating in charity walks for American Cancer Society, MS, March of Dimes, Arthritis Foundation and other similar organizations.
