David Moore

David Moore, ChFC, PAHM

As a partner and co-founder of Benefit Brokers, David brings more than 17 years of group insurance experience to his clients and their employees. David was a founding partner in Capital Benefits Group in 1997 which is an employee benefits agency in Tennessee with offices in Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga and Memphis. He sold his interest in that agency in 2009 as the day-to-day management kept him from spending as much time as he wanted seeing to his clients' needs and growing his individual practice. One reason David and his team have been successful in the employee benefits arena is his focus on long-term solutions to managing healthcare costs over multiple years. The ultimate solution is different for each client, but the end result is the same: satisfied clients with long-term relationships. The service experience he and his team provide focuses on employee enrollment and communication, claim assistance and working hand-in-hand with the HR staff ensure the plans run as smoothly as possible throughout the year. A native of Wisconsin, David is a graduate of Nicolet College. He earned his designation as a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) in 1996 and is recognized as a Professional in the Academy of Healthcare Management (PAHM). During the course of his career, David has served on advisory boards for Blue Cross, Humana, Principal, HealthSpring, United HealthCare and Aetna. He is an active member of the Middle Tennessee chapter of the Association of Health Underwriters. David and his wife Jean live in Hendersonville with their two sons, Chris and Michael. All are active members of Hendersonville's First United Methodist Church, and Jean serves on the PTO board at Merrol Hyde Magnet School. For fun they spend summers boating on Old Hickory Lake, the boys are active in youth hockey and they are huge Nashville Predator fans.

We really like David. He came in with the most creative and simple solution to drive down costs. He was the real deal. The other folks didn't have the solidness or the creativity to win our business. It wasn't about the money but the quality of the consultant we need leading us from here forward. W.T. Dubois Construction Nashville.
